Unexpected Blessings from unexpected people...

I met a really sweet (and hilarious) girl last week who was sicker than a dog from a friend lacing her drink with meth at a party (long story)... She didn't know my life story and she was Christian only in name (and because of a bible she owned), but Jesus told her to show me this song and it was a huge gift for me.

Click here and Listen... its a beautiful song...

Keep your eyes open, God's blessings can come in funny disguises...

"'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops?
What if Your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights
are what it takes to know You're near?
What if the trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise?

What if my greatest disappointments
or the aching of this life
is the revealing of a greater thirst
this world can't satisfy?

We know that pain reminds this heart
that this is not our home.

What if the trials of this life, the rain,
the storms, the hardest nights...
are Your mercies in disguise?"
