Episode 82: Mary Kloska Speaks About Christian Artists

Title: Episode 82: Mary Kloska Speaks About Christian Artists

Description: In this episode, Mary talks about the theology of being an artist. She draws from the Catechism's teachings on Christian art (specifically icons, but embracing paintings, sculptures, music, architecture, poetry, theater and even technological art). Mary also draws heavily from St. Pope John Paul II's 'Letter to Artists' in 1999. She talks about the spirituality of meeting and reflecting the image of the Creator in the process of creating art. And she also explains the importance of working with the Holy Spirit (the Breath of God Who is the Author of all human inspiration) in creating beauty that glorifies and points to Heaven.

Episode 81: Mary Kloska Speaks About Every Christian's Missionary Call

Title: Episode 81: Mary Kloska Speaks About Every Christian's Missionary Call

Description: In this episode, Mary discusses every Christian's call to be a missionary. In Baptism each soul is given a missionary vocation. Some people live this radically in foreign countries or public realms, but just as profound is the effect that hidden souls have living out the missionary mandate of Christ. St. Therese of Lisieux is the patron saint of the missions and she shows us how it is more from love and prayer than any actions or words in themselves that we can preach the Gospel and shine the Light of Jesus in this world.

Episode 80: Mary Kloska Speaks About Tithing and Almsgiving

When I recorded and planned my podcast for this week, I was totally following the Holy Spirit -I didn't realize that the Sunday Mass readings were about this very topic: singlehearted love for God, keeping one's heart and treasure for Him and the gift of tithing and almsgiving. When I saw it all line up, I realized that He must really want to share this message with you.

I won't be able to put SNIPPETS of this up this week, so I ask you to PLEASE hit the link below and watch this, like this and share it. Its an important message for the world.
And if it inspires you to want to help donate to spread the gospel, please see our gofundme link:
Title: Episode 80: Mary Kloska Speaks About Tithing and Almsgiving
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska talks about the important age-old spiritual practice of tithing 10% of what one has to the Lord and the importance of almsgiving not only for those one helps, but also for the soul of the giver. She goes through the Scriptural basis of tithing, showing where the Lord asks this of us in Scripture (both the Old and New Testament). She shares a children's book about 'Roxy the Ritzy Camel' and how one has to rid themselves of attachment to material items in order to enter heaven. And she shares the wisdom of the saints speaking about this practice of tithing and almsgiving as well.

Update on Pakistani Projects -Missionaries and Children of the Cross

Please see the photos below and read the captions.

As my work in the US and on Social Media has been greatly tempered by opposing forces :), God is bearing unfathomable fruit in the Middle East. For example, I could only find a small handful of people willing to pray with their children on First Fridays as part of our Apostolate 'Children of the Cross' who pray for priests and persecuted Christians. And yet, our groups are growing in number, diverseness (Christians and non-Christians alike) and in intensity in the Middle East. These children of Pakistan meet at least weekly (some meet multiple times during the week depending on the circumstances) to support our work with prayer. Its really incredible.

Below is an excerpt from my translator in Pakistan reporting on the work taking place there. We soon will be reaching those suffering Christians persecuted in Afghanistan and although I cannot share details, I ask for prayers for them as well:

"This morning during Sunday service we had a blessings ceremony to bless and send the first missionary to Sindh. It was a historical event here. In the morning in one church I spoke about the value and significance of mission work. I witnessed that I did not ask anybody to go on a mission but this is the only result of a book “A Heart frozen in the wilderness”. And of course this is all happening because of the Holy Spirit and Our Lady.

These missionaries also have some family and cultural blessing ceremonies at home as well.

The place they are going is called Sindh. This is about more than one thousand KM far from our place. This is another province. It will take them about two days to reach. This place is indeed a deserving place. In this place, the feudal system is active. Rich people treat the poor as their own property. Girls are raped and no reports at all. Children and girls have stopped going to school. I had been doing my pastoral work here for more than three years when I was in the seminary. But still this place is the same. People are extremely poor. No money at all to buy. Their owner gives them daily bread. This place is really similar to Siberia. Thanks for sharing your experiences in book form, now really touching my country. I have shared a few pictures with you.

So we are hopeful with these missionaries a ray of hope, light, life and peace will be shared. I have given about one 100 copies of “A heart frozen in wilderness” and a few copies of “Out of darkness” and “Holiness of womanhood”. This place really needs these books. I could not give them more copies as we already have finished them. Only a few left.

I have also shared a few pictures of Children of the Cross. Children of the Cross are really growing in number and spirituality. There are children of other religions as well. These children are praying faithfully and regularly. Thank God for your coming book on children formation. We are really in need of this book. It is sad that we lack material for children. But thank you to you.

Regarding the Dari project...thanks for your prayers, without prayers this huge project would have been not possible. Thank God everything is going according to plan (God’s plan).
...

Translation of “Morning with Mary” is going well too.

Mission work, children of the Cross and conversion are growing daily. We are praying for you and for our needs as well. God may provide financial aid.

Thank God, thanks Mother Mother and thank you very much to you Mary!

Without your prayers and books we never thought about what we are experiencing here. God is active and visible through your books.

Blessings"

Episode 79: Mary Kloska Speaks About Media, Evangelization and St. Maximillian Kolbe and Bl. Carlo Acutis

Its no secret that social media has been having a hayday censoring and blacklisting me -daily I receive notices that their community standards don't like my rosaries, my books, even just my name or pictures of my art... And while this can be disconcerting, we all know that God has the upper hand. I look to the saints who went before us to inspire and pray for my work in this regard. And they are the impetus behind this week's podcast. I hope you will take a few minutes, listen, enjoy, share, like, etc., When we each do our little part, the whole world changes.

Title: Episode 79: Mary Kloska Speaks About Media, Evangelization and St. Maximillian Kolbe and Bl. Carlo Acutis
Description: In this episode, Mary talks about the work of spreading the Gospel in the world. She speaks both about the great fortune of having modern technology at our fingertips, but also about the struggle that the world will put up against the Light of Christ. She uses two modern-day saints to show us the way through the web of media and technology -how they harnessed the good and fought the bad in their own missions. Explaining the life and work of both St. Maximillian Kolbe and Bl. Carlo Acutis, she inspires the listener to ever push forward to glorify the Lord throughout the entire world through modern ways of evangelization.
