The Cloistered Heart

This is what I remember coming across at Notre Dame 20 years ago... it was in a little red book -a mother with a few notes jotted down explaining her own contemplative life in the midst of the world.

I see it is now much more filled out -a beautiful example to those who wish to broaden their interior life in the midst of the world.

When St. Clare of Montefalco died the instruments of Jesus' passion were found embedded on her heart. Sometimes the greatest gifts from Jesus are hidden where we cannot see...
