Episode 77: Mary Kloska Speaks About the Spiritual Letters of the Saints

Title: Episode 77: Mary Kloska Speaks About the Spiritual Letters of the Saints

Description: In this episode, Mary discusses the great spiritual value of the exchange of letters in the lives of the saints. Sometimes written to encourage each other, at other times to admonish, at other times to exchange daily information -the letters of the saints always help the reader know their personality better and bring to light the depth of their love of God incarnate in all aspects of their lives. Deeply spiritually edifying are the excerpts from the spiritual letters of a dozen saints that Mary shares with the listener. In a world that has lost the art of writing letters, we should take a lesson from these saints who have gone before us.

Announcing a new project for Mexico and Belize.

Announcing a new project for Mexico and Belize.

I was intimated to begin this because printing in Belize is extremely expensive (American prices). But I have received quotes from friends in Mexico about printing my books there and they are much more reasonable. My hope is that some of you out there will have ties to the Hispanic community or who might know people wanting to help the spirituality of the Mexican people. We have upcoming projects in Columbia and Puerto Rico as well -but we are not ready to begin there yet. We will start by spreading these Spanish books to Mexico and getting some English down to my missionary priest friends in Belize.
My goal of this project is to have gathered enough money to begin printing by December 12th, 2021 -the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A (SMALL OR LARGE) WEEKLY DONATION TO THIS GOFUNDME PROJECT FROM NOW UNTIL DECEMBER 12TH.
If I could find a handful of you to make a weekly $5, $10 or $20, $50 donation each week until Dec. 12th, we would be able to at least start the project.
Thank you!! And please pray for this.
Our Lady of Guadalupe and St. Juan Diego, pray for us!

Episode 76: Mary Kloska Speaks About St. Miriam, the Little Arab and St. Charles de Foucauld

Be sure to check out my podcast this week and as the intercession of these two saints for persecuted Christians!!

Please see links below -listen, share, like and fiat... +++
Title: Episode 76: Mary Kloska Speaks About St. Miriam, the Little Arab and St. Charles de Foucauld
Description: In this episode, Mary takes the listener through the spirituality of two very powerful (yet less well-known) saints. St. Miriam was born in Nazareth and traveled to France where she received her Carmelite vocation. St. Charles was born in France, but it was while living as a hermit in Nazareth that his spirituality was clarified and strengthened. Both embraced a 'Nazareth sort of life' -living hidden in a life of prayer, while on fire for God. St. Miriam went on to found Carmels in her homeland (Bethlehem and Nazareth) and Charles (although he failed to begin a religious order while alive) has 21 religious congregations who claim him as their founder. Most amazingly, both were martyred by Muslims -Miriam was nursed back to life by the Blessed Mother while Charle's blood was the seed of faith for those he lived among in Morocco. Both of these saints are strong patrons for persecuted Christians.

Holiness of Womanhood retreat at St Felix’s in Hunnington

Awesome women’s retreat at St Felix this weekend on “The Holiness of Womanhood” - we probably had 50+ women and it was so beautiful to meet and pray with all of you (and the young priests who helped out!)

I had a really peaceful night sleeping (and praying) across from Blessed Solanus Casey’s room. He spent several years at this monastery turned retreat center in Huntington, IN. πŸ™πŸ“ΏπŸ•Š

Episode 75: Mary Kloska Speaks About Mother Teresa and Jesus' Words 'I Thirst.'

Happy Feast Day of Mother Teresa!

She’s the inspiration for my podcast this week.

Please see the links below for the entire podcast.
Title: Episode 75: Mary Kloska Speaks About Mother Teresa and Jesus' Words 'I Thirst.'
Description: In this episode, Mary explains the core of Mother Teresa's spirituality, being Jesus' words on the Cross 'I Thirst.' She explains how Mother Teresa sought to quench this thirst through her personal love for Jesus, through serving the poor, through bringing Him souls and ultimately through suffering His Thirst with Him. She also draws from other saints' reflections on Christ's words 'I thirst' and invites the listener to quench His thirst through love.

Episode 74: Mary Kloska Speaks About Prayer, Tears and Sts. Monica and Augustine

Saint Augustine tells us: ‘By Your great mercy, O Lord, my tender heart imbibed with my mother’s milk, the sweet name of Christ, Your Son, my Saviour; and ever after nothing, be it ever so learned, ever so polished, ever so true, could, if devoid of this name entirely carry me away.’

“I cannot tell clearly enough,” Augustine emphasized, “what love she had for me, and how with greater anguish she brought me forth in spirit than she had given me birth in the flesh.”
We released my podcast early this week since it is all about this beautiful woman and her faithful love and prayer (and tears) for her son, who we celebrate as a powerful saint.
Please listen, like and share!
Title: Episode 74: Mary Kloska Speaks About Prayer, Tears and Sts. Monica and Augustine
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska speaks about Jesus' powerful words about faith and prayer. After going through Scripture, she shows the power of prayer in the lives of Saints Monica and Augusine. English/Spanish Talk about my book "In Our Lady's Shadow: the Spirituality of Praying for Priests"

I was blessed to be able to spend a couple of hours tonight with this Spanish Seven Sister's Group at St. Vincent's. They asked me to talk about my book, 'In Our Lady's Shadow: the Spirituality of Praying for Priests'. I gave the talk in English and one of the ladies translated it for the group -although we both pretty much understood each other's English/Spanish.
If you are SPANISH SPEAKING and you have waited for a podcast of mine in Spanish -here's a great talk about Our Lady's love relationship with Her Son and Savior, Jesus. +++
