One thing I learned in the missions was that God plants the love of a Mother in the heart of a child from the youngest age -we simply need to nurture it. While I don't condone its the ideal situation for such a young child to have such a great responsibility, it is beautiful to see the tenderness and love of this little girl in the midst of trial. Its been one of my favorite pictures and an inspiration for years...
