Feast of Jesus the Eternal High Priest

Jesus is the most perfect priest -THE 'Good Shepherd' who still functions as our High Priest from heaven. Often I find myself turning to Him when I am unable to find a priest on earth (as has happened from time to time over the years for various reasons, locations, etc.,) 

Today I was reminded in prayer of Him and decided to post this. I looked up the history of it again and laughed to see how the Holy Spirit arranges so much in our hearts that we are unaware of -TOMORROW IS THE FEAST OF JESUS THE HIGH PRIEST. I guess its celebrated the first Thursday after Pentecost and was promulgated by Pope Pius VI. the Christian people may be directed along the way of salvation under Thy protection.
We ask this through Christ Our Lord. R. Amen.
