Holes

When you feel like your life has holes in it, remember that it is precisely from these places that you can give thirsty Jesus on the Cross a drink of Love.

In today's Gospel He cries, "I have come to set the earth on fire, and how I wish it were already blazing! There is a baptism with which I must be baptized, and how great is my anguish until it is accomplished!" (Luke 12:49-50)

By accepting and offering your crosses in Love, you can bring peace to the world, heal the sick, comfort the abandoned, give hope to despairing, convert great sinnners, heat the lukewarm. Most importantly, you can console Jesus' anguish, just by allowing His fire of Love to burn in the little places He ignites.

If it doesn't hurt, if you aren't stretched, you won't grow.

If it doesn't bleed, it won't be clean and heal.

If it isn't a free, sacrificial forgetting of self, gift of self, it isn't Love.

Imitate His Footsteps...
