Update on Pakistani Projects -Missionaries and Children of the Cross

Please see the photos below and read the captions.

As my work in the US and on Social Media has been greatly tempered by opposing forces :), God is bearing unfathomable fruit in the Middle East. For example, I could only find a small handful of people willing to pray with their children on First Fridays as part of our Apostolate 'Children of the Cross' who pray for priests and persecuted Christians. And yet, our groups are growing in number, diverseness (Christians and non-Christians alike) and in intensity in the Middle East. These children of Pakistan meet at least weekly (some meet multiple times during the week depending on the circumstances) to support our work with prayer. Its really incredible.

Below is an excerpt from my translator in Pakistan reporting on the work taking place there. We soon will be reaching those suffering Christians persecuted in Afghanistan and although I cannot share details, I ask for prayers for them as well:

"This morning during Sunday service we had a blessings ceremony to bless and send the first missionary to Sindh. It was a historical event here. In the morning in one church I spoke about the value and significance of mission work. I witnessed that I did not ask anybody to go on a mission but this is the only result of a book “A Heart frozen in the wilderness”. And of course this is all happening because of the Holy Spirit and Our Lady.

These missionaries also have some family and cultural blessing ceremonies at home as well.

The place they are going is called Sindh. This is about more than one thousand KM far from our place. This is another province. It will take them about two days to reach. This place is indeed a deserving place. In this place, the feudal system is active. Rich people treat the poor as their own property. Girls are raped and no reports at all. Children and girls have stopped going to school. I had been doing my pastoral work here for more than three years when I was in the seminary. But still this place is the same. People are extremely poor. No money at all to buy. Their owner gives them daily bread. This place is really similar to Siberia. Thanks for sharing your experiences in book form, now really touching my country. I have shared a few pictures with you.

So we are hopeful with these missionaries a ray of hope, light, life and peace will be shared. I have given about one 100 copies of “A heart frozen in wilderness” and a few copies of “Out of darkness” and “Holiness of womanhood”. This place really needs these books. I could not give them more copies as we already have finished them. Only a few left.

I have also shared a few pictures of Children of the Cross. Children of the Cross are really growing in number and spirituality. There are children of other religions as well. These children are praying faithfully and regularly. Thank God for your coming book on children formation. We are really in need of this book. It is sad that we lack material for children. But thank you to you.

Regarding the Dari project...thanks for your prayers, without prayers this huge project would have been not possible. Thank God everything is going according to plan (God’s plan).
...

Translation of “Morning with Mary” is going well too.

Mission work, children of the Cross and conversion are growing daily. We are praying for you and for our needs as well. God may provide financial aid.

Thank God, thanks Mother Mother and thank you very much to you Mary!

Without your prayers and books we never thought about what we are experiencing here. God is active and visible through your books.

Blessings"
