Episode 96: Mary Kloska Speaks About Mission Work in Russia and God's Plan

What is life like in Russia and how can we best pray for the conversion of Russia as Our Lady requested in Fatima? If you haven't gotten my book 'A Heart Frozen in the Wilderness: Reflections of a Siberian Missionary' yet, it is a MUST READ for these times. In this week's podcasts I share many stories about the years I lived and served with the Catholic Church in Moscow (1994), and then later on for years in Krasnoyarsk, Kansk, Achinsk, Abakan and several weeks in Vladivostok.

Here's a link to the book -click the link below to listen to the podcast!
Title: Episode 96: Mary Kloska Speaks About Mission Work in Russia and God's Plan

She shares many stories and excerpts from the book that explain the Russian Heart (often wounded and 'frozen'), the difficulty of life in Russia, the wounds of the people and the miracles of grace that God is already trying to do for them. She hopes that her stories will spark a fire of love in the hearts of her listeners for Russians and inspire their commitment of prayer for the conversion of Russia as Our Lady asked in Fatima.

Children of the Cross Prayer Groups in Pakistan and Nigeria

Happy Feast of Our Lady's Annunciation! As you know, I started prayer groups of children all over the world called 'Children of the Cross' -they meet to pray the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy for priests and persecuted Christians. Here's a small group of ours in Pakistan praying the Hail Mary. Aren't they beautiful?!? Be sure to watch the 14 second video! I also added at the end a video of our Children of the Cross Prayer group in NIGERIA praying the Litany of Our Lady from the books I sent. Please continue to support these children through prayers and donations to our projects!!! THEY ARE THE FUTURE OF THE WORLD. +++

Many of the children we pray with are not even Catholic. We are truly evangelizing the Middle East through prayer and Our Lady's Love. I sent them a newsletter for their meeting today (they meet on Fridays). My translator wrote about these pictures:
Greetings!
As I shared with you, a teacher has sent me a few pictures of “Children of the Cross” rosary prayer. It was very dark and there was no electricity that time therefore, the pictures are not clear. She also sent many testimonies. I am sending you a few:
Shazia (A student): Shazia is the name of a small girl wearing black trouser and orange shirt in one of the pictures. She is not a Christian. But she has been attending this rosary prayer for the last couple of months. Now, according to the teacher, she is praying more faithfully than many other Christian children. Shazia herself has taken responsibility to call all children on Fridays for Rosary. She is not a Christian, yet she calls our lady her mother.
Farhat (teacher and leader of this center): This certain teacher said that ever since she has started this Rosary, God has blessed her and her whole family. She has experienced peace and unity in her family. She also admits that she has felt the presence of Our Lady in her house in a special way. She also acknowledged that “Holiness of womanhood” has proven life changing for her and her whole family.
Mary and Dr. Sebastian, I really personally feel that these groups of children are bringing change in our families and ultimately in our society. Of course this change is because of Our Lady, but our lady has used these children and teachers as a resource.
Come Holy Spirit.
Note:
1. I have translated the second Newsletter sent by you, Mary. I have given the copies to all teachers. So this Friday (25 March) this letter will be read in every center loudly and later the teacher will give his or her own reflection.
2. We will have a special prayer this Friday. I will write to you in detail about this.
3. Printing of Dari Translation is going very well. We are very sure in God that we will send these books, soon, to Afghanistan.
4. We are praying for more missionaries, and we need your prayers as well. We are expecting a few miracles.
God bless you abundantly. I will write to you more very soon.
Mary, Yes, the small girl in orange is a Muslim girl. As I told you many Muslim children have become the part of our groups. Even few adult Muslims have converted to Christianity. But we are really afraid to open this to the people as it is really dangerous for our lives. But it is more dangerous for the lives of these Muslims who converted and even their families.
So we are quiet and doing it secretly.
Lengthy lectures (sermons), big offers of money and many other attractions have not done what your books have done. Because people admit that they have experienced the Holy Spirit with your books. And I also believe that the prayers of the children have true power to convert others.
Come Holy Spirit,
Come Our Lady.

Sunday Lenten Reflection

 Good morning!

This Sunday we hear in the readings how God appeared to Moses in the burning bush and when He was asked His name responded ‘I Am who I Am. This’ he added ‘is what you must say to the sons of Israel: “I Am has sent me to you.” God's reply is both mysterious and yet complete -He is the essence of being Itself. He is greater than we can comprehend -more powerful and all-knowing, all-loving, all-merciful, all-just and all-good than we can even begin to fathom. And this in itself should give us great comfort because He is in charge of the universe -and He is in charge of every corner of our lives and hearts.
In the Gospels Jesus continues this revelation of God to Moses by placing Himself in the center of this "I AM" revelation -He continues it by telling the people 'I Am the Light of the world', 'I Am the Good Shepherd', 'I Am the Bread of Life', 'I am the Way, the Truth and the Life...' -by revealing Himself in a series of 'I Am' statements, He is showing us both His intimacy with the Father and His deep connection to our hearts from the very beginning of time... its pretty incredible. I linked here my podcast about these 'I Am' statements -it would be a great way to go deeper into this revelation God makes to Moses in the first reading today. What does it mean to be 'I Am' Himself?
Also in the second reading we hear about all of the miraculous graces God granted to the Israelites in the desert -how He guided them miraculously with food and water -and yet the people were left free to choose to accept these graces or not -to allow them to penetrate their hearts and turn them from 'hearts of stone to hearts of flesh -of LOVE' or not. That same choice is given in the Gospel -the fig tree is tended and even given another chance after it refuses to bear fruit... But God does expect for it to respond to the caretakers tending to bear fruit -otherwise it has no worth.
In our own lives we live in a vast desert. When people look around the world they are overwhelmed by the suffering around them both individually in their personal lives as well as on a global scale. But this atmosphere is no different than the situation that the Israelites found themselves in thousands and thousands of years ago. God provided water from a rock and bread from heaven for them -and He still today provides us miraculous graces to endure earth's exile. Yet we are still -like the fig tree -free and responsible to accept His work and graces in our lives and bear fruit for Him or not. The greatest fruit we can bear for Him is gratefulness and LOVE. Do our lives bear the fruit of LOVE for the Lord and our neighbors? You don't have to be rich, or popular or successful or big to bear fruit for God. All you have to do is receive to your hearts the graces He gives you and offer Him back a sacrifice of praise -to allow your own heart to be the burning bush where He consumes you with the fire of His Love without destroying you.... His Fire of Love actually makes you perfect.
Many incredible things to mediate on this week.
Thank you so much for all of your continued support. We are working on sending another 2000 books in Dari to Afghanistan for Easter. Please pray for this project -both financially and for the safety of all involved. I am also still searching for both a Russian and Ukrainian translator for "Out of the Darkness" -please lift this up to the Lord as well! And we are printing 1000 copies of the 'Holiness of Womanhood' in Spanish for Mexico right now -it will be distributed through Catholic Charities and used in a women's ministry. Please pray for this and all of our continued projects for Central America as well. And I am still searching for a Polish vendor in Poland for our books. Please pray for this as well.
THANK YOU for your prayers, your support and your love. YOU are the fruit God is pleased with in this world.
in His great Mercy and Love,
Mary

God gives Life. Life is Hope. Hope is Light!

In the midst of the darkness of this world, God is continually giving LIFE. And His LIFE is a sign of HOPE. And that HOPE is our LIGHT.

This winter my plants in dormancy have born incredible fruit -my rose bush tree bore 33 roses and my Rose of Sharron is right now blooming regardless of the fact that they received no water and absolutely NO SUNLIGHT in my dark closet. This is proof that LIFE IS FROM GOD and He bears where He wills -sometimes in the most unlikely places.
I had to do my Patreon Reflections for this Second Sunday of Lent a few days early as I head towards Chicago to work for the next week. I'll be working day/night so I won't have a chance to record anything for you. But we could all use some LIGHT a little early, I suppose. Please, take a listen and if you appreciate the work that I do absolutely free for everyone, please consider joining our Patreon family and becoming a monthly donor. It is a HUGE HELP to know I can count on a set number of donations each month. And please, pray for us!!! Thank you.

International Women's Day and the Holiness of Womanhood for Afghanistan

International Women's Day -some people celebrated yesterday, and yet so many women did not. My work in the Middle East, North Africa, India (and more recently Mexico) has revealed such deep wounds in the hearts of women over prejudice (and outright abuse and sometimes murder) over their gender. Just yesterday I received a very sad email from Pakistan that a man murdered his 7 day old infant daughter because she wasn't a boy. The mother is absolutely heartbroken.

St. Edith Stein said, 'The world doesn't need what we have, it needs what we are.' This simple statement needs to be preached in the Middle East, North Africa, India, China and Central America.
My book, 'The Holiness of Womanhood' is bringing both healing and conversion in these lands where women are not respected or loved. This week I received a personal email from the Christians in Afghanistan who received my books sharing many miracles of grace from them. Unfortunately, I cannot share details of this for safety reasons, but here is a copy of the Dari translation (used in Afghanistan) that we sent in October/November. There is a great need to reprint this book (as well as 'Out of the Darkness') in Dari for the hidden Christians in Afghanistan.
During LENT we are called to almsgiving -would YOU please consider a donation to this cause? I will need several thousand dollars to reprint both books and get them transported secretly into their country. In honor of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY (yesterday), why don't you honor your mother by donating to this cause so that another's mother won't be killed simply for being a women.
Yes, from the stories I hear from the field -God is mysteriously using this book to totally change the hearts of men in the Middle East. It is actually preventing abuse and death. It is CHANGING the Middle East!
To donate to this work to help Afghani women, please either send a donation directly to me through PayPal 'friends and family' -or see this GoFundMe:
And please pray that all women in the world may one day come to see and know in their hearts the deep dignity and gifts with which God created them.

Episode 93: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #3 Littleness and the Cross

 LITTLENESS, HUMILITY AND THE CROSS

Did you know that you don't have to be big and strong to carry your cross nobly and gracefully with Christ? The secret of suffering well is to be very humble and little -in this way, Jesus can do everything for you. As you continue deeper into Lent, listen to my podcast this week to discover the quick, easy way to holiness -being very little and hiding in Jesus' wounds.
Title: Episode 93: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #3 Littleness and the Cross
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska shares the third of five talks she gave at a retreat about her book 'Out of the Darkness'. In this talk she touches upon the topics of littleness and the cross. She discusses the importance of the virtue of humility, as well as accepting and surrendering one's weaknesses and littleness to God, so that His strength can carry one through the sufferings of life. Ultimately living littleness before God means living great trust, and it is this trust that keeps us united with Jesus and the Father's Plan for our lives which reaches into eternity.
