International Women's Day and the Holiness of Womanhood for Afghanistan

International Women's Day -some people celebrated yesterday, and yet so many women did not. My work in the Middle East, North Africa, India (and more recently Mexico) has revealed such deep wounds in the hearts of women over prejudice (and outright abuse and sometimes murder) over their gender. Just yesterday I received a very sad email from Pakistan that a man murdered his 7 day old infant daughter because she wasn't a boy. The mother is absolutely heartbroken.

St. Edith Stein said, 'The world doesn't need what we have, it needs what we are.' This simple statement needs to be preached in the Middle East, North Africa, India, China and Central America.
My book, 'The Holiness of Womanhood' is bringing both healing and conversion in these lands where women are not respected or loved. This week I received a personal email from the Christians in Afghanistan who received my books sharing many miracles of grace from them. Unfortunately, I cannot share details of this for safety reasons, but here is a copy of the Dari translation (used in Afghanistan) that we sent in October/November. There is a great need to reprint this book (as well as 'Out of the Darkness') in Dari for the hidden Christians in Afghanistan.
During LENT we are called to almsgiving -would YOU please consider a donation to this cause? I will need several thousand dollars to reprint both books and get them transported secretly into their country. In honor of INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY (yesterday), why don't you honor your mother by donating to this cause so that another's mother won't be killed simply for being a women.
Yes, from the stories I hear from the field -God is mysteriously using this book to totally change the hearts of men in the Middle East. It is actually preventing abuse and death. It is CHANGING the Middle East!
To donate to this work to help Afghani women, please either send a donation directly to me through PayPal 'friends and family' -or see this GoFundMe:
And please pray that all women in the world may one day come to see and know in their hearts the deep dignity and gifts with which God created them.

Episode 93: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #3 Littleness and the Cross

 LITTLENESS, HUMILITY AND THE CROSS

Did you know that you don't have to be big and strong to carry your cross nobly and gracefully with Christ? The secret of suffering well is to be very humble and little -in this way, Jesus can do everything for you. As you continue deeper into Lent, listen to my podcast this week to discover the quick, easy way to holiness -being very little and hiding in Jesus' wounds.
Title: Episode 93: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #3 Littleness and the Cross
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska shares the third of five talks she gave at a retreat about her book 'Out of the Darkness'. In this talk she touches upon the topics of littleness and the cross. She discusses the importance of the virtue of humility, as well as accepting and surrendering one's weaknesses and littleness to God, so that His strength can carry one through the sufferings of life. Ultimately living littleness before God means living great trust, and it is this trust that keeps us united with Jesus and the Father's Plan for our lives which reaches into eternity.

ASH WEDNESDAY IN THE PERSECUTED CHURCH

ASH WEDNESDAY IN THE PERSECUTED CHURCH -A note from our prayer groups 'Children of the Cross' in Pakistan. In St. Pope John Paull II's Letter to Children he wrote that he entrusted the world's most difficult problems to the prayers of children -especially that of world peace. These children (whose lives are threatened themselves because of their Christian identity) spent today praying and fasting for the conversion of Russia and peace in the Ukraine. If only more adults would follow their lead!

Both the Catholics in Pakistan and those hiding in Afghanistan used reflections from my book 'Out of the Darkness' about the Interior Suffering of Christ for their Ash Wednesday services/meditations. If you haven't gotten your own copy of this -do it now! It will draw you so deep into the Heart of Jesus. See the here for a link.
"Greetings
“Children of the Cross” had a very reflective and blessed Ash Wednesday today. This is surprising for me that all the teachers and small children fasted today especially for the conversion of Russian and peace in Ukraine. You will be happy and surprised to know that many people here ask me that they have a desire to go to Russia and say a Rosary there.
They had prepared charts and few children wrote prayer intentions on the pages.
I am going to share with these teachers and children the insightful stories and living experiences that you have written in “ A Heart Frozen in the Wilderness”. I am sure this will make them happy and motivate them to do more prayers.
I attended this prayer in a group near my home.
Teachers helped all the groups and had a reflection from “Out of the Darkness”.
Every year people go to churches on Ash Wednesday, but this year many teachers, parents and children acknowledge that now with this book “Out of the Darkness” they had a clear direction. I am using this book throughout the lent season to go into the depth of Jesus’ passion.
This ministry will be conducting many talks and workshops and we will be using this book.
I have also planned to continue “Holiness of Womanhood” with women and men.
This ministry is growing in my country and changing the lives of many.
...I am very happy that I got an email from Afghanistan... They used your book “Out of the Darkness” today for Ash Wednesday..."

Episode 92: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #2 the Eucharist, Confession and the Cross

 LENT IS COMING!

As we prepare for Ash Wednesday this week, I hope and pray that this talk I gave at a retreat a few weeks ago helps open your heart more deeply to the riches of Confession, Eucharistic Adoration and love of Jesus Crucified. There's no better way to start Lent then a good Confession -and then after you prayed and sacrificed, meditated and worked hard for 40 days to get your heart into spiritual shape -to go back to Confession before Easter.
Please take a little time this week to listen to this talk and then to get yourself to Confession. I promise promise promise you won't regret it!
Title: Episode 92: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #2 the Eucharist, Confession and the Cross
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska shares the second of five talks she gave at a retreat about her book 'Out of the Darkness'. In this talk she connects the mysteries of the Eucharist, Confession and the Cross -showing Christ's profound, personal presence and redeeming love within each of them. She talks about the power of the precious Blood of Jesus and prepares the listener to meet Jesus face to Face, heart to Heart in the Eucharist, in Confession and on the Cross.

Out of the Darkness -Reflections on the Interior Suffering of Christ -for LENT!

OUT OF THE DARKNESS -reflections on the interior suffering of Jesus on the Cross...

If you haven't gotten my book 'Out of the Darkness' yet, it would be incredible reading for you for Lent. You still have time for it to arrive if you order it now.
It has been a great light in the darkness to Christians in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, Belize, Italy, Poland and Bishops, seminarians and lay people in the United States. It has strengthened our modern day martyrs, healed those who are wounded, encouraged the despairing and brought both theologians and common men and women to know, love and unite more deeply with Jesus on the Cross. This is your year to have an AWESOME LENT.
I am hoping to go over the second part of the book in a Lenten Video Series several times a week -reading one of the stations of the cross in the back and leading a short reflection and prayer about it. I most likely will only be able to do this Mon-Thurs at 3pm when I don't work. Join us! Get the book and stay tuned for the LIVE readings... I promise you will come to know and love Jesus more through what is in these pages.
The book is available in English, Spanish, Polish (and Urdu and Dari if you are located in the Middle East). It is available in India for a very reasonable price on pothi.com.
And it is available in the US here on Amazon, as well as Barnes and Noble, Walmart and all places books are sold: Out of the Darkness: Kloska, Mary: 9781952464522: Amazon.com: Books

Episode 91: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #1 Darkness, Stillness and Silence

Good morning! Two weeks ago I gave a retreat on my book "Out of the Darkness" for a group of about 40 ladies. As I spoke each time about a different mystery of Christ's passion, I noticed that many were brought to tears. Tears can be a sign of love, of compassion and of healing. Tears are a sign, also, of the Holy Spirit. My podcast this week is the first of my talks -I highly recommend getting a copy of my book, 'Out of the Darkness' for Lent this year -and also listen to these 5 talks from the retreat which I will post as my podcast for the next 5 weeks. They will help you begin to prepare for Lent in 10 days and also draw you deeper to His Heart the first few weeks. Please see the links below.

Come Holy Spirit!
Title: Episode 91: Mary Kloska's Out of the Darkness Retreat -Talk #1 Darkness, Stillness and Silence
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska shares the first of five talks she gave at a retreat about her book 'Out of the Darkness'. She explains who she is and the background of the book -and then she brings the listener into a meditation on the Darkness, Stillness and Silence of the Cross. She talks about the 'nails' of suffering that touch our lives as being concrete, but offers the hope of Christ's presence within that suffering as just as concrete. And she shows how it was in the midst of darkness, stillness and silence that Christ was the greatest light, did the greatest work and spoke the loudest word to humanity.

New Book about Missionary Work in Pakistan!

Good morning!

I am so excited to share with you all a new book that was published yesterday by my Pakistani translator, Aqif. It is about his incredible life as a persecuted Christian in Pakistan and the amazing work of GRACE that God has led him to do -especially growing since he began translating and distributing all 6 of my books in Pakistan and 2 of them in Afghanistan. When people think of persecuted Christians, they often think of scared people hiding away trying to be faithful -but Aqif and the people he works with and serves are BOLD witnesses of faith who GO OUT to seek out the lost, bind up the wounded, enlighten those in darkness with the message of healing love that only comes from Jesus and His Mother.

My hope is that by reading his personal witness about his life and the lives of many who we serve in Pakistan (and by perusing the many photos) you will be inspired to continue to financially support our work of printing and distributing books for free in the Middle East. PLEASE support this heroic man by getting a copy of his book and spreading the message that the Catholic faith is alive and well in the Middle East. "The blood of martyrs is the seed of faith." And the blood of many Christian martyrs in this land has been the seed of incredible faith in the hearts of her people. Please share this far and wide!

Our Lady of Pakistan, pray for us!

"Memoir of Grace (Children of the Cross) helps us to see the wonders and miracles that God has provided through the works of Mary Kloska, a woman from the first world who has touched the hearts of those in the third world with her pure and sacred love. Mary’s books have changed the lives of many here in Pakistan, Afghanistan, and elsewhere in the world.

In this memoir, Pakistani translator and missionary Aqif Shahzad looks at how Mary’s books have given light, life, and healing to wounded and persecuted Christians. He reflects on his own experience with God and shares his personal life journey of how God chose him, a simple person from a village, for this ministry of Children of the Cross."

Retreat on My Book, "Out of the Darkness" in Hunnington, Indiana -February 5-6, 2022

We had an incredible retreat for the Indiana members of the Daughters of Isabella (and other interested women) at St. Felix's Retreat Center in Hunnington, IN. This was the home of Blessed Solanus Casey for 10 years and you can physically feel the presence of this holy man within these walls. Here are some pictures of our weekend and starting February 20th -each of the next 5 podcasts on my radio program 'The Heart of Fiat Crucified Love' will be the five talks that I gave stemming from this book and focusing on different aspects of the Cross and Jesus' Interior Suffering.

Episode 87: Mary Kloska Speaks About God Speaking Through Scripture at Mass

My podcast this week is all about listening to how God speaks to us daily through Scripture and the Mass. Please listen, like and share it with others -there are so many graces that the Lord wants to pour out on souls in the Mass if we just have hearts open and receptive to take it all in.

Title: Episode 87: Mary Kloska Speaks About God Speaking Through Scripture at Mass
Description: In this episode, Mary Kloska explains how God speaks daily to us at Mass through the Scriptures we read and His Eucharistic Heart which we receive. She explains in general how God speaks and how we should listen, as well as the effects of His word in our lives. She then gives a concrete example by explaining how God speaks to each heart through this Sunday's Gospel Readings -January 16, 2022. She inspires the listener to have new ears to hear His voice through what seems to some as ordinary.
