Last year a woman visited me during a time of great abandonment and persecution and she said to me, "Mary, the price of a soul of a priest is very expensive... and you have more than one."
She is correct.(So is the price of anyone's soul).
And we pay in suffering and prayer. +
Jesus said that if people don't cry, the rocks will cry out. Jesus, help us to love you this Lent.
